Post-Modernism, security, green building trends and roller-coaster real estate prices have dramatically impacted where we live, work and play. Skyscrapers are a 20th-Century phenomena, and thus relatively recent additions to our built environment.
This tour will explore how downtown zoning has evolved and how it has changed the city.
This tour lasts approximately 2 hours and begins in Downtown Seattle n front of the Federal Courthouse, 700 Stewart Street at 10 am. Advance registration is strongly encouraged; walk-ups are limited to space available. Tour is $15 in advance/$20 day of.
Upcoming Tour Dates:
2010: 2/13, 4/17, 6/19, 8/21, 10/16, 12/18 (all Saturdays at 10am)
