Modern Skyscrapers: What's New?
Co-sponsored by the Columbia Center
Post-Modernism, security, green building trends and roller-coaster real estate prices have dramatically impacted where we live, work and play. Skyscrapers are a 20th-Century phenomena, and thus relatively recent additions to our built environment. This tour will explore how downtown zoning has evolved — and how it has changed the city.

This tour lasts approximately 2 hours and begins in Downtown Seattle n front of the Federal Courthouse, 700 Stewart Street at 10 am. Advance registration is strongly encouraged; walk-ups are limited to space available. Tour is $15 in advance/$20 day of.

Upcoming Tour Dates:
2010: 2/13, 4/17, 6/19, 8/21, 10/16, 12/18 (all Saturdays at 10am)
